Pilot’s Station history
Pilot’s Station company was born in October 1991 from an unsatiated passion for all aeronautical stuff. Indeed, having left the cockpit and its smell of glycol, the tarmac saturated with 100LL and the hangar with its Duraluminium scent – nothing would make it possible to re-create the atmosphere of the squadron bar - except re-creation. It is an answer to the expections of the “heavier than the air” fans.

And then.....
Pilot's Station had also (since January 1998), been a 200m2 bookshop , open to the public and sited within the "Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace" at Le Bourget airport (nothern Paris suburb).Contract betweem museum and company has been interrupted since February 2007.
Then ......
First located into a 15m2 garage in the suburb of Bordeaux, the company moved in 1993 into a 400m2 warehouse near Mérignac airport, close to Dassault factory where Rafale and Falcon families are assembled. Surface was obviously too small again, so office and stock moved another time in July 2007 to a 2000 m2 building, still close to Mérignac airport area.
