On July 31, 1944, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry took off on his last mission. On his reconnaissance P38 F5, he set off for the coasts of France, and disappeared without a trace. Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Consequently, initially fruitless searches will finally lead to the updating of the wreckage of the plane: few things in fact, including the landing gear, and no clues as to the cause of the death of Saint-Exupéry. A German pilot, Horst Rippert then testifies after a long silence that he shot down the famous pilot-writer 1998 years earlier. Sincere testimony? fabrication? There is no evidence that provides any certainty. Nevertheless, I went on this track to tell the disappearance of Saint-Exupéry through a painting whose action is located above a well-known place: “the Calanques”. Saint-Ex, dreamily flies over this beautiful landscape and does not see the little German fighter positioned behind him... in a minute, Saint-Ex will definitely leave the "Terre des Hommes". Benjamin Freudenthal.
